As you said it’s not a big improvement. The new thing is the ability to train all the positions you want at specific skills but with strong limits (limit to 10 slot, limit to number of positions orders) It’s looks like more flexible but in fact as limited as now, so… :-) I wonder what’s your super plan for the next system that could not perfectly fit in the current system ?
Also, it’s your own choice to anticipate a new system.
About the Next YS system, I’m agree, it s also the same deal : basically it’s build upon the current system, a little less random, but randoms will be the main factor again. And a good reason to spend money for something we will never change after (like the fantastic stadium grass feature)

Young Strikers Old Defenders Football Club
or maybe:
Slow Players Training Pace Football Club.

I have a doubt about next season, with or without the new training system, will be the training rates modified? because currently we have 1 official match per week, so one full training match(let aside the friendly) but, with or without new training, next season we will get 2 official match every week, that means twice the amount of training you get from official matches per week, so logically, unless "exp" rates are adjusted we may see a much faster development of our players in training.
The new training system will be like walking on the beach promenade, no worries, no challenge, it will soon be a drag.
Don't forget that you will play no more friendlies for training, but all league or cup games! Try to combine that with the current training system will be impossible!
Also...the fact that you now can train 22 players on pace, where in the new system you can only train 10, so in stead of a walk on the beach, you will have a hard time growing your team in the new system.

If i recall correctly, Friday will be the new day for national cup/friendlies.
Friendlies sucks, nobody cares for friendlies, we play them cause of training. It doesn't worth taking friendlies seriously beacuse of injuries...
Yes, but you can still get some exra training in this match.
If you put 10 trainees in the slot they will get a bit of extra training in the friendly.
Just like in the current system.

In the slot they ll get full training even for friendlies as far as I remember.
Who want to juggling players in 10 slot training each weeks due to injuries, red card, minutes played, and playing seriously 3 official games a week ?
No one should be in a hurry to see those changes. And when it come I bet the Devs will face new reforms again. It's not even 2 seasons, but much more before it can adjust…

almost all the pages modified by them ,so far, look awful, they are confusing, culminating with the players page, which is horrible and focuses on some numbers instead of skills. The new generation of sokkerists will discuss something like
Q: Do you want to buy a player with attack 15 speed 14 and technique 13? A: No no, I'm looking for a 16 16 17.(embarrassing )
Taking these aspects into account, I don't even want to think about what the new training system will look like and im not even want to witness the destruction of the game's engine. .

So, do not rush to ask for changes, because it will be a disaster, enjoy as much as you can what it is now, at least.

Well skill numbers are more universal and simple, it’s remove translations. you can't understand until you are NT coach :-) It would also take away the ridiculous superlative words, which are not human languages. Who is better: a divine or an extra-terrestrial? Ask a beginner without the numbers :-)

Skill numbers have been there all along, only they shouldn't become the main ones .More universal and simple?We are not sheep, though !
if I was newby, by example between average or adequate I can't see what is better ,but if i see 5 and 6 immediatly this is clear
Then think back on how it was when you actually were a newbie, back in the days...
Did you need the numbers?
From what I recall from that time, I was thrilled to see a pop from excellent to formidable in stead of from 10 to 11.
