Subject: »[info]Dev Diary #82: Automatic release of NT-players from

2022-02-15 15:02:29
Isn't it what is happenning in real life as well ?

I really liked the new league system . Also promised training system looks fine . Which gives me a good sign for youth school reform.
The only crazy part is the next season . Training pace for 33 players is legitimate cheating :)
2022-02-15 15:14:18
I like the new training system too,and i dont mind about the new league, meaby is better.

The only thing i say is,how it works if we have to play 2 league matches in a week,
and how this affect without changing also injuries-deform.

And the 13 training a week affect only those communities are low in numbers.
2022-02-15 15:28:47
I disagree with that - players from high user countries will also get 13 weeks of training .
So it will affect everybody - for sure high user countries will have larger pools to select . Which is also more or less the situation .

Injuries should be aligned with this new system as well . Otherwise it is %50 more likely to have injuries each week - which is terrible .
But really the main issue is - training 33 players for a season - . Devs communicating this as a gift - which is communication disaster .
İf you wanna give gifts give us free plus - not a creepy change that you like :P

I mean it as now Im training tech to my strikers too but Im mid trainer so I need to play them with MID condition now. After changes I can choose Atts to train tech, Mids passing, etc up to 10 players, no?

Just that you'll be able to get that for all 10 trainees instead of half like now.
Yes, thats the part of my point too.

So its more efficient for me. And with 16 to 13 weeks it will decrease on the other hand.
2022-02-15 17:01:34
Big communities like Poland,i don't think will be affected from the new system,3000+ ppl, many Academies many talents.
But the low will struggle.

Devs could create teams like Testowa in small countries.

Pros = more players to select for NTs.
Cons = price of these players will decrease.

What if every junior have pace between formidable [11] and magical [15]? Something like that, there's no football player that is so slow. Just in case you guys want something more realistic...

Look at Raul cheating hahaha

But why would you think that we will have more different kinds of players? 2x17/18 defs will still be a thing, simply with worse sideskills. And noone will train anything but pace/tech/striker for atts anymore to counter that. Yes, mids will get more interesting as they tend to be more rounded at 5 skills at the cost of other 2 positions getting less so.

all depends on how it will look like at the end, including the youth school changes

My idea would be to create a game where you can reach 3x 17 striker like...one or two in whole game during couple of seasons?

As for defs, would you prefer 2x divine [17] with average [5] tech, pm and passing? or 2x magical [15] with very good [9] pm, tech, pass? I remember older times and going 100% main skills was not the answer, except for GK

You guys concentrate too much on how things work NOW, I'm talking how they might look in 2-3 years, we look from a completely different perspective
2022-02-15 17:20:39
Are you planning to change the speed of pace training after the new training is introduced?

It won't make sense to still make pace the slowest training, since after changes you won't be able to train 22 guys in it like now, it will basically be like every other skill

IMO it would make sense to set training speed of every skill to equal one (except for stamina ofc)

Its very small chance, than worst first place in div II will have less points than strongest team from possition 2. In that situation 2cd team can be promoted to div I, instead of the champion, but only if champion will lose playoff

I don't understand... against who will champions from div 2 play play-offs??
2022-02-15 17:56:31
Promotion is based on total points in the competition. So:
- you become champion, with a low amount of points, for example 27.
- you lose the play off
- the number 2 from another league has more points than you, for example 32
--> that number 2 will be promoted.

Big communities like Poland,i don't think will be affected from the new system,3000+ ppl,
many Academies many talents.

Rare to find any talent, and if that talent affected by injuries or deformation, then
its more worse than the system we have now.

That's true. More clubs > more youth academies > more divine talents.

Countries like Poland, Romania and Italy will become superior in the long term. On the other side, countries with 40-50 users are struggling even now with good talents and the difference will become bigger with time.
2022-02-15 18:22:59
But against who do the champions of div 2 have to play play-offs??
2022-02-15 18:26:46
''Rare to find any talent, and if that talent affected by injuries or deformation, then
its more worse than the system we have now.''

How so? You will have 3 games per week, 2 of them for league and 3rd one for cup. You still can train your youngsters once per week if you're afraid of injuries, or use corner tactic, You can use wider squad for your official games, therefore how does the new system harm your young players if you make them play once per week?
2022-02-15 18:28:41
That's why I suggested to decrease training effectiveness of higher level skills(15+) instead of all - even increase at lower levels - make it more exponential than now. That way to get to 2x17/3x17 would be too costly. Only by reducing weeks and/or training effectiveness - we will just get worse players and lower quality games. That would result in bigger "middle class" of players, but that would also make difference in tactics mean more.

2x17+3x5 vs 2x15+3x9 - if opponents have a chance to have 17pace/17tech strikers - 2x17 every day. I play with mids as wingbacks more often than not and even 16 def is not enough for them to tackle with any reliability most of the time.
2022-02-15 18:29:37
Div1 7-5 places. Div1 teams can throw the games - they are safe but div2 winners must win to avoid a chance of not getting in higher division.

1. We play play-offs, promotions and relegations, as usual, at the end of the season.
