Subject: »[info]Dev Diary #82: Automatic release of NT-players from

Yes. I had a Greek young promissing player with an awesome talent! But since he turned 19 his form dropped down from divine to tragic and it stayed there for 4 seasons in a row! I was completely desperate, cause it made his playing chances with the U21 onto 0%!
Then, when he turned 23, he was still tragic.
But then Sky-eye told me about this ''trigger'', so I tried to change training, just to see what it does.
I was training pace, technique, defender and playmaker before, so I changed to passing!
You know what... His form went up and in 3 weeks he was Superdivine!
Apparently, when a player is eager to get better in a certain skill, his form will go down when his wishes are not met.

I Belive playing NT improves form.
But dont know If it is because minutes played per Week. So far I think that is a NT bonnus, form.

When Kunduraci started to play in NT, his form went down form [18] to [13]. :)

maybe, in his case NT started reversed trend of player form and soon he will have tragic form

I had case of player who generally had high form, was called-up to national team, didn't even play a game but from that moment his form started to go down till it reached bottom and after about 3 seasons with more or less tragic form, it started to grow and from that moment, it took him 7 weeks to be in more or less divine form

Could be like neymar, son he can go to the parties and dont play NT matches?
2022-04-11 21:53:11
Nah, it is not.
Have 3 regulars in U21 nt since last season. All three of them are playing 90 minutes in NT and a match in my team. One have a stale form, second is getting better with each match and last one is peaking down.

Maybe...
What theory will be provided, if his form will increase this Thursday? Weather condition? :)

XD

none, he still might be on lowering trend, single Thursday wont prove anything, as like these two drops are not proving anything

there is some small punctual randomness, that's obvious, but apart from it, there are also clearly visible low/high form trends

I don't have the player anymore.
It was around 10 seasons ago...
And you don't have to believe me on my word.
I just shared what I saw.
He was a sole case, though.
Never saw anything like that again...

It was about Dimitris Koniaris
The Greek NT coach of that time can back my story.
He was fan of the player and fully aware about his form problem! He even tried, in vain, to let him play with tragic form for the NT.
The passing training was his ''trigger''

> there is some small punctual randomness, that's obvious, but apart from it, there are also clearly visible low/high form trends

That's clear, but that doesn't mean that they are necesarily connected to any event, they can be programmed to be random too

I say it because many aspects of Sokker were copied from oHTer game, and it always seemed to me that form worked the same way in Sokker :P

yes, the low/high form switch might be also randomly triggered

never said there have to be any "events" for that, but also didn't said that there aren't

it's hard to say, although, when You see a player whose form is always top, for like 10 seasons, it would be strange that either not even once low form trend was triggered on him (if it was randomly triggered) or every time it was triggered then high form trend was triggered right after that

but maybe that's overthinking how the player form works and its randomness is much simpler

I think low form is a way to force a club selling a player.
