Few answers here:
All players can get 100% intensity of training - just for players from advanced list it will be a bit easier, starting from 50%.
Nut intensity is a basic - it's the measure how many % of training player gets.
Then, he can gets two types of training:
1. Advanced (works as current main training - so you can expect that talented player will pop in just few weeks up in trained skill)
2. Formation (works as current additional training - for example, you train passing to your mids - but whole team gets also a bit better training in passing, that is a formation treining after reform, so each formation will get that slighty bonus in choosen skill)
On top of that two trainings, all players get general trainings (that is why player pop up sometimes in non trained skills) - all players get that training in the same way, based only on intensity.
---------
About limitations for passing - we decided to allow it for all formations.
But - Goalkeeping, Defending, Playmaking and Striking - we decided to save it as it is now - you can only train that skill when player is playing at proper formation.
Its also a kind of logic - we belive that you can't learn how to be a great defender, while you are playing as striker. From our perspective left skills column is about technical skills and could be trained on each formation, but right column is dedicated for each formations, and it should be combined with real experience from matches.

He will also get formation training, so one skill dedicated for training for his formation will be a bit more effective, that just a general training of all other skills.
If you will change his formations - you will need to decide what kind of training he should get, in new interface there will be a droplist to do it. He will get only one formation training, you need to choose, there is no option to train few formations at one training :)

I would argue that PM is important for every position, more so than passing in my view.
For me, it would be logical to unlock PM for all positions, as anywhere on the pitch a player needs to know how to play football.
Passing is more specific skill for mids than PM

Exactly.
Next to that, passing Is almost useless without PM.
Very strange decision to go for passing instead of PM.

Wait, def didnt train the same for all positions until now?
From rules:
Training of defending (tackling the ball)
You can select the position that will train defending most effectively during the week, you can choose among ATT, MID and DEF. The remaining positions train slower.

The rules are correct, DEF trains the same for all positions (at least for MID orders that's working....)
Thats what I have always thought and want to make sure because Raul implies that they are keeping def as it is now and making def train slower for other positions which would be a change.
Every player need playmaking, my strikers and defenders need to be dumb? I don't get it. Also this way will be way harder to keep a high level squad with trainees at 24~30 yo, that's the goal?

This is confusing. If a player who is on the advanced list pops in 3 weeks with close to max training, is the player who is not on advanced list but who also gets close to max training gonna pop in 3 weeks?
Same efficiency, but is the effectiveness the same?

confusing, I thought the same. Raul probably means: You can train with 100% intensity in formation training like 100% in advanced training (maybe with 120 min played), but of course the amount of training is not the same (maybe 100% vs. 20-25%)

reading this once more it looks like players picked for advanced training will need less match minutes to get 100% of advanced training than other players will need to get 100% of formation training.

How about minutes the player has played 75 as def and 65 as mid if we now choose mid training will he get 140 mins of mid training or only 65 mins?
