Subject: »[info]Dev Diary #82: Automatic release of NT-players from
devs have such task planned so it will probably be possible someday
That's my reason for paying. And to be perfectly honest, I don't expect any return. I spend because I like the product - just like with street musicians.
Or do you expect street musicians to play your favorite song because you spent money?
Spending money is not necessarily a business that is based on return.
Spending money can also be a gesture of gratitude (at least for me).
i mean that was it so. but 8 week to 17 pace for 23y is ok pop.
is there a way to not set reserves for the friendly games i do not want to risk good players on wrong position..
yes, get rid of the players from the bench, then click on the empty spot and replace it with the empty spot above it, and that for all empty bench places then save and check. that way i can keep my bench without players.
One thing sokker has teached me, being creative af ;__;

The comparison between sokker and the street musicians is kind of..... weird...
Sokker is a private company whose purpose is to make money.
For years there were no development at all, they were just taking your, mine, our money in their pocket without solving any bugs or adding anything new to the game.
They just woke up 2 years ago when flash was ending in order to make sure their business can go on.
And still that's the mess with lot of delays, bugs, lack of communication, etc... like they don't care about the quality of the service they provide.

Looks like skill drops didnt happen at all this week? My older guys who didnt play didnt change in value at all and TD didnt drop for guys not playing. Hopefully it is a one time thing?
That's your way of observing things, and no matter how you observe things, it's quite alright for me.
You can also observe street musicians as private entrepreneurs who don't pay tax on their profits, whereas I have to pay my tax. That's also a matter of perspective.
The fact is that the way one look at things influences his perception, and that triggers different emotions and reactions.
3 messages earlier Jaouad shared his perspective on Sokker "sokker has teached me, being creative".
Do you spot the difference?
He sees sokker as mind-training-tool,
I see it as an amusement and thinking game where the developers have to run after it so that we can have fun,
and you (and other people - don't take it personally) think we've been scammed.
We live in the same world, but our worlds are very different. I placed myself in your world, but I don't like it there, no matter how demonstrative you are in your argumentation.
(I have already chosen my point of view. This was a very conscious and rational decision. And with that, my perception is directed in a already consciously chosen direction, where I experience already consciously chosen emotions, that I like.)
------------
Weird perspective? Maybe...
But that's beside the point for me.
The point for me is that we can all have fun here and that we also can do some brain exercise (e.g. on creativity) and all that for only 20 €! ;P
I am wishing you a nice day! ;)

It would be nice to be able to see the progress in skills behind the comma, maybe as a plus feature and only for players you own...
At least that will give you a good idea on which skills to train and which skills to leave for random pops...
Also, that way you can control the amount of training a player gets.
I know it was nice to see those random pops to ''surprise'' you, but the new training system and especially the shorter seasons break that surprise imo...
And it doesn't have to show how much a skill has increased, but just the exact skill
Maybe with a progress bar, so it's more a mysterious number. But at least you then know if a skill is high or low in progress.
Also, for older players I feel the way drops are ''randomly'' calculated is really not okay!
If a player is training a certain skill (advanced), it should prevent that skill from dropping at least up to his 40th birth day!
On the other hand, an untrained skill should only be possible to decrease in the same amount the skill can increase with formation training until they are 35 f.e.
Those players dropping skill on a regular basis when they're 29 is ridiculous!
I can understand a player cannot have superdivine (or even divine) pace when he's 30+, but still the drop in pace should be limited...
Say f.e., max pace up to 29y old = superdivine
30 = divine
31 to 35 = unearthly
36 to 38 = magical
39 to 40 = brilliant
And if the players reached superdivine pace, let these skills be their progress and not see a player drop in 4 seasons from superdivine to brilliant pace. That is unrealistic.
Another point would be to preserve the mental skill, ''playmaker'' to maintain it's level.
Now it's like all 30+ players are affected by alzheimer and ''forget'' how to play. Imo..this is a skill that increases with age, not the other way around...
Just saying...

Too much pompous or dogmatic speech for me sorry.
With your theory we can start to appreciate everything happening in this world as this is just a matter of perspective.
Getting a cancer can be wonderful as it forces you to focus and meaningful things, global warming is fantastic when you like hot temperatures, even a nice worldwide epidemy is likeable in an overpopulated world.
I am really happy to see that you are enjoying being scammed and bullshitted, we definitely need more of people like you to make this planet a better and safer world.

I wouldn’t classify this as a scam. They are not intentionally trying to get you to give them money for privileges only to never have any intention of giving you them. Graphs currently are bugged yes, but it’s not like they’re not going to fix them. On top of that you still have everything else plus offers.
If you consider this a scam then you must consider every time you can’t access electricity or water due to maintenance or storm damage as a scam too.
The problem with society these days is everyone thinks the world owes them everything and things have to always be perfect. As soon as something even so insignificant goes wrong it’s always looking straight to I need compensation or how can I profit of this.
Whilst I don’t sit the other side as the previous post I’m more that side than yours. It’s not a scam (at best it’s an inconvenience whilst they try and improve the game)

Values were updated in the morning after the wrong training. Then they fixed the training, but they didn't run "update values" script again.
Values will be updated tomorrow, as this script runs everyday (for some reason), the first time it will be useful on Friday xD
So, you were right.
Values are updated and for every player who played during past training week their value raised, even for the injured ones.
Since their form is basically the same, seems like every one of them received a training (or part of).
I have a feeling that injured players have also received (a bit of) training.
What are other experiences?

+ it looks like form will be updated on Monday, so players are set for their matches on Fri, Sat and Sun.
