You don't need player retirement mechanism. Just make the drops big enough at age 36+ so players at 40+ are not worth much money.
Blue line is current "average weekly value lost by player because of sunday (well, now thursday) drops", change it to something like the red line and it will be fine.

but it would be better with retirement i think. it is a bit strange, that messi in sokker drops in the skills and travel via 10 different clubs reacheng some amatour level in the end.
club page is the main page if you visit other clubs, overview is the main page if you visit your own club - I guess? So if i check other clubs, I'm usually interested in their last and previous matches, I would place them more in the top of the page.
So, the best place is after guest book then? or even before? if before, you will see last games on PC from the start when you visit some club, but to leave a comment or see a comment of your own club you will need to scroll - but im not sure how important for you is guestbook, for mi it is minor thing.

And add experience factor to salary, that makes salaries a bit higher when player gets older. It will be positive against inflation and also such old players with proper skills drop (as Mikoos presented) will be additional not worth to keep (cause of too high salary).
And no need to create separate retirement system. It will work by itself, controled automaticly by economy.

You can add retirement later anyway, I guess it's 20 times easier to adjust the drops algorithm (that you want to change anyway) than to add the new retirement mechanism.
The problem with changing the algorithm like I proposed is that current 33-34yo would unfairly quickly drop from their current levels (with old drops 28-33 and new drops 34+)... but it will always be unfair with a sudden change in drops. You could make smaller changes season by season if you want to make it more fair (but I guess adjusting it every season would take some dev time each season = $$$ :P)

In the end it is exactly as you pointed - overview is for you, to give you key information to manage your team, tips, etc. Also some private data you can find there.

But experiencia is worth almost nothing right now. If It increased the salary, playing NT matches would be a big punishment

experience as a factor of wages is interesting idea, we will discuss it.

yes, coaches retirement will be one of priorities, and i think that it will be a mechanism that could be easly duplicate for players too.
if players retire, please give us a hall of fame to keep them somehow. I've some of Germanys first NT players in my squad and have paying them for a so long time now, just to remember the exciting first years of sokker.
i even think, that we should have hall of fame with player skills from prime time saved, for crucial players, same with overall stats and trophies.
The only thing is, that it will be hard to develop for old players - for example your first NT stars from Germany - there is no track in databese how they looked like in the past.

It is quiet natural that same skill-looking player at age of 32 has higher salary than player at age of 24. Experience is the only factor which makes difference.
That difference doesnt need to be sign if i can't, but visible.
That's also natural that NT player expects higher salary (as more experience that way)
Is it punishment? Maybe a bit. Everything is connected. It is a field to think about profits from NT like small% of training.

What I mean IS that experience should be more important in the match engine before taking It into account for the salary
And about the hall of fame, many users keep old players for different reasons, specially the name. You can't automate It, just let the user decide which players are importante for him

The new club page looks good, but if there is still time to correct details, there is something that really bothers me, club kits:
2 things are wrong imho with the way kits are displayed, first, the background, half of the background takes the main color of the kit, so with white kits half of it end being ugly grey, would be more simple to let the whole background be that shade of blue as the page color.
Second, the kits display wrong design, in my case away kit has a diagonal pattern stripes, my team actually has vertical stripes, no diagonal, in fact diagonal stripes is not even and option(there is one option with one single strip but is not what i use). So, i think kit viewer should reflect exactly what design we use in the 3d match viewer, or instead and for simplicity, plain colors with no design, like in the 2d viewer, i know this is just a visual annoyance, but improving the visual experience of the users with this new page is part of the whole idea about making a new page, isn't so? and kits should be a fundamental part of it, because they with the colors, and design, are the identity of everyone club, so if there is still time please check this, thanks.

Well, if we should stick to reallity that even with some adjustments of skills drops in the future - stamina and pace should be most affected
If you would strive for realism, players would start with close to max pace/stamina at age 20. Instead we spend years to train ir from nothing to get ir droppend instantly.
