Subject: »[info]Dev Diary #82: Automatic release of NT-players from

2023-02-14 13:01:50
Is it possible to ask for admins in charge of putting players from bot/banned teams on TL, to put All the players instead only players asked by NT staff ? With that subit, it can reduce inflation from game as many teams can buy players. Last example : i found a potential NT french player into banned team. If admin locenzty had not agree to put him on TL, the 10M € put by the buyer would never have get out from the game.

Only taxes get out from the game value of players remain in the game the devs is better to leave player and die or not train there :(
But having such players on market should reduce the prices due lack of quality players lately and of course NT needs thos players...

No, as money gained by a banned team who can't use, it is lost for the game.

true you are right :)

Nope, it's not lost for the game, since an active buyer extract 10M€ from a banned team it's 10M€ again in the machine.

Inflation is a result of : 1. amount of money (mainly increased by "stadium tickets" now) 2. not enough valuable players on market (offer/demand). Releasing banned team players will solve one part of the problem making the other point even worse.

But the 10 M € goes to the bannes team and as no one can use it, it is lost for everyone thus for the game because nobody will use it in the future.

Nope. 10m€ goes into another hand (the active buyer) its not a lost for everyone, not a money sink. Deleting directly a banned team with top players would be even more effective to remove the total amount of money for everyone.

Once said that, I do not say that it would be necessary to delete top players in banned team, what I say it will not change the whole point.

A buyer paying 10M € can't have more money in his bank...

Banned team sell : +10 (but not used then lost)
Active1 buyer :-10
Active1 seller : +8
Active1 total :-2
Active2 buyer :-8
Active2 seller : +4
Active2 total :-4
Active3 buyer :-4
Active3 till no value
Active3 total :-4
Total Active :-2-4-4=-10

A buyer didn't lost 10M€, if it's not in bank its still an active value (10M€ or more after training).

You introduce 10M€ again in the game economy with banned team transfers. In one side you solve what you re you looking for : more offers to reduce prices inflation, on the other side you still introduce money which is one cause of inflation. Good luck :-)

"Is it possible to ask for admins in charge of putting players from bot/banned teams on TL, to put All the players instead only players asked by NT staff ? With that subit, it can reduce inflation from game"

This would reduce inflation, but it wouldn't be fair for the managers who train players efficient.
I think the best way is to reduce ticket income, because this is the main reason of the inflation.
Simple like "10M + [Player] = [Player] + 10M", not? ;P LOL

Sorry, but I don´t understand....

1.-There is a BAN/BOT Team so no one can login into this Account.
2.- Before reseting this Team, Player are put in TL
3.- Buyers spend their money for these Players (or some of them)
4.- Seller (Ban/Bot Team) recieves money for this Transfers, but no one can use this money.
5.- Account is reset
6.- Bye money!

That´s what I think is StefNihon point.

juytt is talking about the value of the player itself.
10M is paid for the player, so the players value = 10M
If the buyer decides to sell the player again after 4 / 6 weeks, then an approx value of 10M will be brought back into his account.

But he is not thinking about the lost 10M in the sellers account, which is actually lost.

Cause we started with 10M in the buyers account + 10M in the players value = 20M in total

Just compare a bot team with no transfer and bot team with auto transfers : In first case you burn all players all the money, in the 2d case the player value is translate to buyers, it’s not lost.

Is it really so hard to understand that when you remove a top valuable player in the game you destroy money in the whole game.

Anyway.
2023-02-15 23:46:53
Yeah, you're not making sense here

By deleting a player you don't destroy money in any way, you destroy a product that could've been bought

If you have 1 000 000 000 000 000 euro in the game on players' accounts, then even if you delete 1000 players you will still have exactly the same amount of money in the game

players have no value by themselves, their value is always determined by the demand, supply and amount of money on the accounts

25yo 3x divine striker can be worth 20m euro and he can be worth 1m euro
5x average 18yo midfielder can be worth 5m euro or 100k

it all depends on the market and game economics

so yes, people are 100% right that if there's a bot-sale, then the money for players go into black hole and leave the game

ps. it doesn't really matter though because it's just peanuts compared to the amount of money that enters the system during each league day
