There's no shame in evolving the game to benefit the times we're playing in.
It's no longer 2005, it's 2025...
This feels more and more like lack of interest to update the game.
Updating the game might be rather expensive to do, but the excuses are very cheap.
There are dozens of very small but irritating issues in the game which the developpers know about, yet they rather choose to keep them as a feature and ''repair'' useless things or even properly working things into features that makes it even harder to like the game.
I don't know if you guys know anime, but the new season of One punch man has been brought out and fans all over the world are spitting their bile because the makers of One punch man needed 6 years to bring out a new season, only to have us seen pictures dragged from a to b in stead of real animations and they were paid millions!
Next to that, there are fan made teasers from One punch man which are made with only a few hundred bucks, yet they look even better than the best animations the original makers ever made.
I brought this up because I feel that while funds are a good reason to slow things down, they cannot be a proper reason to slack off and ignore the issues the game has for years and years on.

I think the term is "Ride it until the wheels fall off"
This game has been held together by the community almost since it started. For every problem it has, it's been the community that has found workarounds while the devs seemingly do nothing. I said after the Plus increase that now they have to deliver something, and it hasn't happened. I consider that an act of disrespect and I'm not into being disrespected, so once I'm done with the U-21 national team my Plus subscription will be ended. We can no longer have a situation where the community care more about this game than the owners.

With ai it doesn't matter if code is old or not. Shouldn't be hard.
You overestimate AI for coding. Especially with context window limits.
But on the other hand it can help if you know how to use it and know that it hallucinates a lot :-).

I feel like AI is fantastic for 'getting you in the ballpark'. Like, if you don't know anything and want to get a basic understanding of something, AI is great. Chatgpt for example did a great job helping me pick out my last pair of training sneakers for what I needed.
I feel hallucinations were a big issue few months ago but not now
I work with AI for coding every day. It can do small tasks pretty well. Doing a bigger or more complex task is impossible for it.
Hallucinations will never disappear from LLM models, the way that LLM works actually "promotes" hallucinations. The bigger model the less hallucinations, but bigger models are slower and more expensive.
And AGI will not be possible to achieve with LLM.

You need to take some breaks on weekends:)) every day is not good for long term:)
Nothing is impossible. Ill leave it at that
