Subject: [change] Trading reform

2020-05-18 22:07:49
I am for the trading reform. It is really annoying when I sell player for 20k while similar players go for 2-3M

and this person ruined the market with young players for last 3 weeks. He was extremely overpaying all players he bought and also many others where he was involved in bidwars. I can provide the numbers.

now I can see all the frustration in this topic caused by the market activities
2020-05-18 22:27:58
Hahaha, he sold players for a total of +60M and wants to train top talents.
Btw... He didn't really overpaid for the talents he bought... It was a lot but they were all extremely high potentional talents!
2020-05-18 22:33:12
he did and extremely .. 150-200% most of them. I compare the prices of similar players all the weeks before he started buying and after that, plus he often bid high round numbers which caused the big inlation of prices of top juniors in last 3 weeks
2020-05-18 22:40:03
Because he couldn't be online at the deadlines and wanted to be sure he had them.
I understand your frustration, but there's nothing wrong with high bids for very good young players with lots of potential.
He was the one btw who trained, and in the end sold Barbez

I do not understand why have problem with user what buy player for huge money..this money are him..

if want it, do it... his money, his decision....

but buy player what you want, pay more or will be quiet.

Next problem what you wrote.... buy player and about week sell... of course... if he have too many this selling pay more %... but me, you and everybody have sometimes problem... Lost important player before matche and need buy player for 1-2 matches... Why i have pay so big money only for it.....

trade do not need change... maybe set max selling limints per season, or time limit in team from buy.

sell for low money, it is bad luck... everybody have chance look for buyers for good price or have luck...

sometime sell for great money, sometimes for bad...

1 you do not want buy expensive players and you cry when somebody pay so much for players.....

2 when sell players, want sell expensive and you cry when sell for low money...

trade is good do not cry....

but time is spent traning place and what is expensive for you, is cheap for me....

this player bought and lot of guys wrote too expensive. But for me no, because i will train this players to 27 y and sell their for 11-14 mil... so for me it is not expensive and i will have this players 8-9 season so can pay more. It's true.
I think fixing arcades bug and hardening the sale It would be perfect.
2020-05-19 13:14:00
Yeah fix the arcade bug so we can take a break from them on the TL market https://sokker.org/glowna/teamID/76571 ; https://sokker.org/team/teamID/77854 and https://sokker.org/team/teamID/94732

Because he couldn't be online at the deadlines and wanted to be sure he had them.

That's a main and major factor about overpayment for me. I overpaid because i don't want to be online for the last f* bid second... Im tired about that system like many many users too ... then begin the paradise for traders : just stay connected to TL buying only opportunities for a resale to user boring to cash something on the market at time.

For some sokker users, the bidding system is a "true price adjustment" and a "secure system" but that's quite the opposite, the system force buyers to be very active on market, or overpaid.

That's why, additionally to limit buy/sell, or taxes, i propose alternatives bidding system , because taxes and selling limits will never stop alone overpayment.
2020-05-19 14:06:35
In this case it is a wrong presumprion. He did it even though he was online at the time of DL. It was probably a way to discourage the competition. But this is just a technicality

@jezo, I dont want to tell anyone what to do and not to do at the market. It was just a lamentation of what I have seen many times. Old users with crazy ammounts of money buying all best players on the market not really caring about their real price. An activity of a few such people can result into inflation of the whole market.
2020-05-19 14:33:40
It is good to "overpay" for players at the moment, because they are gonna be even more expensive tomorrow.

The game is in a really bad place, and Greg & Co are making a new schedule...
And yea, the market is gonna self-regulate... I can't facepalm enough to this.

There is too much money in the game, obviously. They need to implement coach retirement, or something else, jest to get some money out of the game. It is getting worse and worse.
Loyal users are getting demotivated to play. People who are not active are not buying players because they think that they are overpaying by a lot. The game is a mess.

This is an urgent issue.
2020-05-19 14:48:48
in 'your' case that's just inflation, 150% 200% for tomorrow is not overpaid : just take a look at top 25-27y players now, we are touching 30M for the bests, 10-15M averages... ... Thats a two motors mechanism : Less top players to buy at time (when we are connected) and not much day and times to spend on TL : result overpayment ! And that"s how the High trading can growing too, no overpayment not much money to win with massive sells.

2020-05-19 14:58:23
i start play 2008 and ritch guys buy for huge money this time, 5 years later and this time... it is still....

but still i lot of great players for good money....

everybody hava same money when start... if use head and no only fingers, will be to look team like my or other old users...

if is people stupid, can have in start 100 mil and do not make nothink and will be only inflation.. or do not have time is his problem(buy expensive or nothing)
2020-05-19 15:22:25
get some money out of the game

inflation mean a lot of money, ok, but for old users that's the same, buying much more, but selling much more too.

Getting some money out of the game is a bad strategy because it's touching all players, beginners, and olds, even those you doesnt trade much, and taxes touch everyone who want to trade for "good reason" not for playing a High frequency trading game...

So for me, there are 3 solutions that should work alone and together for a better result :

1) controlling the market (limit numbers of sells/by week, calculate and showing "common" price for players in UI, taxes for plus-value maybe...) to reduce the amount of traders.
2) Adding new features like direct buy or auto max-bid that help coachs buying at common price without the need to be stick on market !
3) Flooding the market with better players by increasing youngers skills (see Y.S topics)

Theres also few others things that's really can change the game : not showing the real skills, update talents for players during times... But thats another subjects...
2020-05-19 15:28:58
Don't forget the squad limitation.

Could you not bid this player??? has 128 players in his team now, the numbers are growing days after days.
If nobody stop this compulsive maniac, soon he will have bought all the sokker players.
