Subject: [change] Trading reform

2020-04-10 23:08:56
I think this title is more suitable and covering the topic in more aspects.
Sorry if you feel offended, it wasn't my intention...
2020-04-10 23:34:47
I am gonna be okay :)
I just hope that you to know that you made a mistake.
If you say that we have two topics about the same thing, then this one is against the rules.

b) be able to use the thread search option - always check first if the discussion you would like to start doesn’t suite to be posted in already existing threads!

Yeah... I know. But we're day 1 of this forum...
Against the rules is 1 thing... I saw this topic before yours. Guess it doesn't really matter cause the discussion will continue here. If I'd chosen your topic then I'd changed the topics name to this one's, so it was easier to go the other way...
Anyways, I'm sorry for the mix-up.

Sometimes the hard way is the right way :)

I'll just paste this here so my idea keeps living :)

High taxes on reselling

If you buy a player today, there is +10% tax if you sell him this week.
Next week it drops by 2% until it is back to zero.

1. week _ 5%(u23) + 5% + 10% = 15% + 5%(u23)
2. week _ 5%(u23) + 5% + 8% = 13% + 5%(u23)
3. week _ 5%(u23) + 5% + 6% = 11% + 5%(u23)
4. week _ 5%(u23) + 5% + 4% = 9% + 5%(u23)
5. week _ 5%(u23) + 5% + 2% = 7% + 5%(u23)
Normal _ 5% + 5%(u23)

10% may be too much, but I think that taxes are the best way for dealing with reselling.
Disabling trade of a player for a period of time after buying him is not good, I want to be able to sell a player at any time.

* resuming Rebel.81 proposal, to lock fast transfers (8 weeks) and team players' number (25)

Rebel.81 a Tutti
I think wild players trading is one of the main problems with this game.

to stem this problem that unbalances the game I propose:

1)Max number of player in the squad: 25 (as in reality) (player from youth team unlimited)

2)minimum period of stay of a player in a team after his purchase: 8 weeks (half season as in reality)

* evaluating variuos disagree

I have to wait 8 weeks to sell him?
That is no fun, I want a game to be fun.
I need space in my team to keep old players, memories are precious, dude.

I don't think trading means to cheat, also because there are administrators who control.

And I think that if NT are limited to 40 players, why dont clubs?

* staying unsolved the tactical/financial balance problem of the game, pending too much on financial side

* if we agree that the problem is too much and too fast income by fast trading

I think a balanced solution could be

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
max 30-40 players (optional, but i really like it: 18-30 players)
4 weeks before reselling, exepted for own youth school players
+10% tax if reselling before 8 weeks
+5% tax for u23 players, payed to original team (actual rule)
progressive tax system (value in € - $): 5% until 1000k, 10% from 1000k to 2000k, 15% over 2000k
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

agree? disagree?

+1 agree

there should be a limit to wild trading

2)minimum period of stay of a player in a team after his purchase: 8 weeks (half season as in reality)

disagree, that's too little. I prefer the original idea:
not allowing to sell players before 8 weeks and to have 30 a max of 30 players.

the question is: do we all believe that making money by trading without medium/long time training is a disease for the game?
2020-04-11 00:39:17
Apparently I'm totally against this idea, both the taxing and any transfer bans.

I think this would even slow the game down and now while talking about Sokker problems, this slow pace seems to be one of the reasons Sokker isn't as attractive as it used to be back in the days.

For us, veterans, day trading doesn't seem to be the main means of profit (or at least it isn't for me), for newcomers this is one of the ways to catch up and be active in game - and nowadays we are suffering from the lack of in-game activity.

I agree with solution + removing start price fee

Hi, Bad idea for me.

sir_james proposal seems the best for me.
not allowing to resell for 8 weeks is too much,it limits the choices of a manager, while the purpose is just to make wild trading economically not so profitable,so we have to work on the taxes.
the idea to limit the squad to 25/30 players is also ok, with exception for players from your youth squad.
No one needs more than 30 players, if someone wants to keep his 60 years old former top striker, we can make a sort of hall of fame of the team, no sense to keep him in the squad.

The current system is quite balanced, because some users likes to buy/sell, I have no problem with this.

But I strongly agree with OLIVER ATON, there is an issue with some users using the arcade games to skip the restrictions on the immediate sales of players. Look at who is leading the Italian league... dayly trading, 52 players in the team.... you can even not open his transfer page because of his wild training !

No need to implement some complicate tax system, keep the things simple :

Arcade games shouldn't count to sell a player faster
Limit of 30 payers in the senior squad, same as the youth team

fix the arcade matches bug and the problem is solved

now I understand why almost exclusively Italian users were in favor of this idea
2020-04-11 10:02:38
I don't know if arcade matches allow the fast reselling of players. but I trust you about it, and I agree to fix it.
I am not a fast trader, but when I try to resell few players, I just need around 2weeks waiting.
Do you really think that just fixing arcade bugs will solve the problem?

Actually in Sokker tactical/financial balance is pending too much to financial income by fast trading

* I think is wrong to kill the fun of many users (almost) locking down trading with 8 weeks waiting

* I like the idea to limit max numbers of players, but on the larger number of 30-40 players, making all users free to have their fun; at same time I like 18-30 players limit, but I think it is really a secondary aspect.

* I think is needed and reasonable making fast-trading a bit slower from 2weeks (actual wiaiting time is around this value) to 4weeks (fixed time) before reselling, exepted for own youth school players.

* I think it is needed and reasonable paying a bit more +10% taxes, if reselling before 8 weeks (about as sir_james proposal)

* In the last point, I think it is reasonable and needed a small progressive tax system of 5%-10%-15%
It is better for lower team (often low money teams), because richest team can buy and resell (training or not) better/expensive/remunerating players, growing the gap between heading/ending teams.
It is better for MODs because it will be easy for them to control market prices, applying low number of unpleasant TPA

@all Please confront your ideas with this problem/solution/target changes

The taxes make things more complicated to understand, especially for the new users. We should keep the game smooth.

But I like the idea to slow down the time before to be able to resell but without any fixed time.
It means an user who rarely buy/sell should be able to resell a player very quickly as it is now so only the frenetic traders will be impacted.

This plus the 2 ideas already discussed (Arcade games and Squad limit) should improve the game experience without over complicating the rule and the coding of the game.
