Traders or wild traders? :))
2020-04-28 22:41:27
Well, this seems against almost all the things discussed in this topic. Most wild traders have really good players, if not team :))

PS. Sorry, forgot that I said I will stop replying in this topic

traders (users who buy for monetary profit and once they assemble enough money they start playing competitive - classic sk scenario)

if you don't want the problem "wild trading" become a bigger e serious problem in every nations, we need some rules to prevent what instinct posted and no, solve arcade bug is not enough :-P

Agree, arcade bug wont solve the trading issues. I don't know why some people think that.
Also, sometimes you don't need a bug to resell a player, it is pure random if the player is willing to go.

Here is an example. I sold the player right after buying him. He played no games.
This also brings me to the reason why I am pro-taxes and anti-bans. If I wasn't able to sell him, I wouldn't train him, or maybe not even use him, and he is Lithuanian U21 player.

Traders kill the competition when they decide. Not only by winning but loosing too , and not only "wild" traders ...
*cough *couch

Thank for your perfect (traders) definition and to remove *wilds* ;-) wilds are more agressive but that the same logical.

Your link is a perfect example:

432 market operations in 8 months
216 per season!
54 per month
13,5 per week
2 per day... every day for 8 month!

all this in a perfectly correct way. We needs rules and limits. IMHO.

Otherwise sooner or later everyone will understand that this is the way to get rich and buy superplayers for win.
Therefore, whoever wants will become wild traders too, who will not, will have the game ruined.

for comparison:
I am a regular Sokker player who won 2 national championships and 2 national cups and I made 880 market operations in almost 13 years, 154 months to be precise:

so:

880 market operations in 154 months
22,8 per season
5,7 per month
1,4 per week
0,2 per day

and I am an assiduous player who is logged almost every day for 13 years...

Arcade matches were implemented in the game in June 2013. Sokker had 38118 users back then. 7 years since then and still not "everyone understood that they get can rich and buy superplayers for win. Leagues are still won by people with best strategy and tactics."

There are around 30 wild traders out of 9500 users in the game. Maybe even less. Correct me if I am wrong but I dont remember any such discussion on the international forum about how trading is ruining the game since I started to play the game in 2005 until now.

Honestly I study and teach, often while I study or do something else I sign the players that I like and on whom I could make a profit. Is this dangerous? Is it cheating? Do I create discomfort to other users? I hope not. However, I am still surprised at this way of citing other people and putting them in a bad light. I leave you all to judge and reflect.
2020-04-29 00:42:20
nobody puts you in a bad light and I have not posted the link about your purchases, which I had never seen before...
I only used the data to show something that I think is a problem and I have not judged. Instead I wrote that your way of doing trading is perfectly regular now ("all this in a perfectly correct way")

but I hope Devs decide that this cannot be done anymore in that "wild way" (216 operations per season...), because in the long run, it will ruin the game. I hope they change trading rules. if they don't, I will continue playing. but I have to try because I care about this game. Easy

in part you are right and it would be a very long talk to deal with on "because less happened before"

But this is not the point...

the point is:

there is 30 out 9500 wild traders now? OK, I dont' want they became 60, 100, 1000 and if we put trading rules to stop "wild trading" nothing change for 9470 users because we have to stop "wild trading" not "normal trading"...

Just connect the dots. It didnt happen since 2013 when there were few times more users than nowadays. Why would it happen now? Especially after the bug will be fixed as Devs said. There is too much time and energy wasted on this subject
2020-04-29 09:42:19
It's obvious...

Just because now there is some wildtraders and we can all see what happens when you use that "strategy"...

so it is very probably that more and more new players will become wildtraders in future if we don't block the problem in the bud.

I don't mind why you keep saying it's not important when it is one of the most popular thred in this forum and as you can see by reading, many mangers think like me. if you don't want to waste your energy on this aspect, which is one of the most important, don't do it. easy.

It's an evidence thats users against ANY trading limits (from @Rebel.81) are not only those "wild" traders but traders (ty to @kryminator to point the right definition, again.)

You're right, traders spend much time and energy wasted for something that will change in future (Diary #2...).

Any proposals from @Rebel.81 should work; certainly point 3) or 5) are most simple and efficient enough.

Finally , can we solve competitive growing strategy (you know...just winning match...) Vs trading strategy by ONLY limited trading ?
For sure : no.

And to hell with the click-last-second-before-deadline bastards!!

"Correct me if I am wrong but I dont remember any such discussion on the international forum about how trading is ruining the game since I started to play the game in 2005 until now."

Years ago there were definitely these discussions. These discussions I believe were also brought up by MOD cometer within the mod forum numerous times.

The fact it got it's own name "daytrading" shows it was an issue worth naming.

Daytrading is the way to get rich, and it has plagued sokker from day 1. But it only plagues for as long as there are few people doing it, the more people that do it, the less of an issue it becomes (less bargains, more people going for appropriate amounts), but the more people that do it, the more it increases inflation within the game, so the more it causes issues there.

I like the idea of diminishing returns for quicker sales, and I love the idea of a limited number of transfers per season. Both will go a long way to making this practice less productive
