Subject: [idea] Youth Structures

2020-04-19 00:32:44
To increase the probability of finding interesting young players in youth team, we can insert "Youth structures".

A weekly investment based on your finances that increases the level of youth structures over time and therefore the general quality of the young players who arrive during the week.

Example:
Level 1: poor structures -> 2.5 K / week and maximum 3 places
Level 2: weak structures -> 5K / week and maximum 5 places
Level 3: average structures -> 7.5K / week and maximum 8 places
Level 4: good structures -> 10K / week and maximum 11 places
Level 5: very good structures -> 15K / week and maximum 15 places
Level 6: excellent structures -> 20K / week and maximum 18 places
Level 7: incredible structures-> 25K / week and maximum 21 places and + 1.5% on the training received
Level 8: brilliant structures -> 30K / week and + 2.5% on the average quality of the young players arriving and + 5% on the training received
Level 9: magical structures -> 40K / week and + 5% on the average quality of the young players arriving and + 7.5% on the training received
Level 10: divine structures -> 50K / week and + 10% on the average quality of the young players arriving and + 10% on the training received

In addition to coaching and giving an opinion on current skills, the youth coach also signals a range of exit values for the young player. Example:
Age: 16
Role: GK
Current skill: average
Potential skills: excellent - outstanding

I would lower the limit of young players that I can enter every week to 3.

In this way we will have fewer young players but with more quality.

I think it's a good idea.

Allow me to add and bring back some ideas from Football Manager, I am an old lover:

- improvement of both youth and 1st team structures.

- observers, who allow, based on the investment, to find excellent young people.

I do not agree. This increases the level difference for new users who cannot afford to invest a lot!

A single change that should be made at YS, in my opinion, is the graphic talent to be as it was before and perhaps a discussion in terms of foreign players at YS. (only 20% of the total youth team) to help smaller teams have better players.

Why isn't it already? New members cannot afford 30 places and a magic trainer and rightly so.

Whoever invests a lot is right that he has an economic return on average higher than those who invest a little.

This modification allows to increase the chances of finding interesting young players and the gap between a team of 1th series and 10th series will occur in any case.

Among other things, I find that it is right otherwise what advantage is there in going up in category and winning? I doubt that Real Madrid has poorer youth structures than a Spanish amateur team.

In my opinion, in order to improve the youth teams you have to choose between two ways:
1. privilege those who invest
2. give preference to those who have more time to stay on it

Without one of these things, the more complex youth teams than we have now cannot exist. The random draw cannot exist in strategic play as a sokker.

PS I'm in the latest Italian series: D

interesting idea

Current junior system is absolutely dull. Everyone has at least magical junior coaches, full places for incoming juniors opened and then everything is only about luck. There is absolutely no place for strategy.

I agree to change the youth sector approach.

In addition to what is proposed, I would give more percentages to get a good young player or at least a bonus to be evaluated, for who show interest in the youth sector, for example:

- A bonus based on the placement in the Youth League;
- A bonus based on the vote taken by his young, for example 34 = + 3.4% of improvement in one or more skills / 17 = + 1.7% of improvement in one or more skills.

In this way given advantage by meritocracy and not by wealth.
Interest in the youth sector is encouraged. We begin to study tactics and the best role of the single young.
The youth league would finally make sense and especially the gap between who can afford 30 slots and who only 11 (minimum to participate in the championship) would become smaller.

but some users dont want to play matches with their youngs
2020-04-19 16:15:51
As long as it doesn't have a clear purpose, those matches are like arcade matches...

When i started i couldn't affort a magical coach and 30 places either, neither did anybody at that time. This is how it goes, you are a new user so you have to work hard to get your youth right. This is a long term game.

In this case you have a default growth rate without bonus.
2020-04-19 17:38:57
If you really need to narrow the gap between high and low level teams, you can do this to balance the bonuses:

- part of the bonus comes from investments for Youth structures (users who don't have time but money)
- part of the bonus comes from those who follow the youth team, perhaps adding some other functionality: Series, votes, ecc (users who have time but have no money)

Obviously whoever succeeds in both takes the total bonus.

It would be ideal.
The important thing is rewarding in some way who follow the league, tactics and growth in general of his youth.
When this is not the case, the youth sector become only an algorithm, as they are now.

I disagree with the original idea. Again, we want to let new teams have some chance. Unless the game grows again, and this feature will not be the defining thing that causes it too, the old teams already have massive bank balances they will probably never spend, but new teams will always struggle. This is why 3x SD strikers are going for 16mill euro+ nowdays, when they used to go for less than 10mill euro back in the day (despite the fact there are probably a great proportion of those players now than back then)

The current youth system helps give newbies one aspect where they are on a pretty much even level, and can grow their team with a couple of great pulls.

Trust me, as a team that has come back (lost my first team due to inactivity), and one who has got pretty damn good results, it is still bloody hard, and this is with all my previous knowledge. Being brand new to the game, you'd have zero chance with this system
