Subject: [idea] Youth Structures

2020-04-20 13:58:42
I disagree with the original idea. Again, we want to let new teams have some chance. Unless the game grows again, and this feature will not be the defining thing that causes it too, the old teams already have massive bank balances they will probably never spend, but new teams will always struggle. This is why 3x SD strikers are going for 16mill euro+ nowdays, when they used to go for less than 10mill euro back in the day (despite the fact there are probably a great proportion of those players now than back then)

The current youth system helps give newbies one aspect where they are on a pretty much even level, and can grow their team with a couple of great pulls.

Trust me, as a team that has come back (lost my first team due to inactivity), and one who has got pretty damn good results, it is still bloody hard, and this is with all my previous knowledge. Being brand new to the game, you'd have zero chance with this system

im agree that finding young players is too much rare and random. The YS system is really boring in the end... But this (actually) random system can help poor teams to win money with luck and the only chance get competitive vs older teams.

So if we change the YS system to the benefit to rich club that's really not a good deal ! :/

-1 better a complete random (as it is now)

I noticed the fixtures in top division are not exactly random i noticed the algorithm tries always 1 against 2 in ranking 3-4 etc

It is not the random that helps small teams, but a youth management that allows you according to a strategy to have economic returns.

The current system does not favor small teams but those who have the possibility of having 30 places and magic coach (the problem returns). In small teams, this happens: a lucky user finds the 5M player(which happens once in a lifetime) and 500 other users lose money.

Not really agree, a magical coach and 30 want help if we have no lucks at start with new youngs. I see many "small" teams getting top players that they never could bought on market too.

But im agree with you, random Y.S is a boring game XP.
But honestly, your "Level 10" is SOOOO easy for me (a rich club) a really nice deal for richer club and not so fun (like managing Stadium lawn maintenance : just pay and forgive! : )

This idea will support old/rich clubs and has a negative effect on new managers. There is already a big difference between these 2 groups, every idea that makes the gap even bigger is a -1 for me.

Only thing I do like, when highest level [ideas] is a lot more expensive, more money will leave this game as right now.

For this reason I would like to release the bonus to those interested in youth.
For example acquiring points-skills every time you reach a goal, victory or average for example.
The skills points can be attributed to their young people that will be distributed randomly..

I dont know why better juniors for better clubs should be such a problem. What is so strange about stronger teams having a better youth academy?

We want more competitiveness, yet we make mantra from the idea that everything that favours stronger clubs is bad and that we should support equality. We tend to forget that the only problematic gap is between newly registered teams and the rest. The key is to give a better starting position to new users.

The game should reward the best, and not only by the financial means. Some say better complete random as it is now than such system which gives advantage to the clubs who invest more in junior school. Nowadays if you have magical or unearthly junior coach and enough places in junior school opened, it is completely random. Club in 5th division can have much better junior school than club in 1st division. That does not make any sense.

And remember what I said about the gap? Tell me what group of users is disadvantaged by the current system? Who cannot afford to have junior school opened and to have a magical coach? It is again the new users

I don't say that the proposed idea is the best. But I think the current system is flawed in its basis.

Does it make sense to you, that any random old teams (like me) whatever they play good or not (!) are unreachable by new "comers" during years?

Does it make sense to you, that new comers need years of trading (i don't even say wining titles ! ) to reduce the gap ?

Does it make sense that millionaires teams are stick on low division(!?) without any historic winning titles, invest millions to train young players ?

If it make sense to you, so far so good... increase that gap with a boring new "pay for more and forget' feature.

Make no mistake, im totaly agree to improve the Y.S system, its a boring UX game, we need new things to make it more CHALLENGING, but not introducing a 'pay for more and forget' feature that will only help millionaires, again ...

I don't understand. You ask questions but you have already answers for them in the post you react to...

I too think that a gap between new clubs and older clubs is normal.
Years and years of managing to get where you are and then we should "give" the new teams lots of assets in order to close the gap... Insane if you ask me.
IRL, if you have a new team and little finances to invest, how long should it take for such a team to "catch up" with 1st class teams?
Decades! At least...

In here, with some good managing, you can close the gap drastically within 6 to 10 seasons, which is, to be honest, completely realistic and acceptable.
There should be made a more competitive system for all levels of football, but closing the gap between different levels of teams isn't something that should or could be realised within a short period...

I'll make a compromise in a new topic!

well, if u don't understand ...

Let's be more direct maybe.

I'm against this proposal :

1) That's typically a 'pay for more' feature proposal (this topic) ! This never help small teams, NEVER, just pay more and get better chances.
2) It's just BORING. like stadium grass: pay and forgot; improving a Y.S just by paying MORE is not challenging.

I m really agree to change the Y.S system and making it less random... But really not like that !
