A small down effect is that there will be too many players from 1 position and too few from another...
But the skill distribution should be more logical, absolutly!
Excellent passing and tragic playmaking for example is a ridiculous skill distribution...

I think random skill distribution (as it is now) is a good thing. Not only do we get a mix of player abilities, but it takes a good coach, and lots of sokke knowledge, to know whether training a skill from tragic up is worth it (due to varying training speeds at different points in the skill ladder).

It also opens to door for single skill trainers, or quick pop quick sell trainers.

I could understand if instead of outfield, they said def/mid/str based on the primary (but without having a clue of any other skills or distribution, it would just be the Max skilled primary), but I don't want them to change the skill distribution. I think it's good for the game

What if we could influence the skill distribution of juniors by choosing what skill we would like to train each week for all the juniors? We could either keep general training as it is now or train a specific skill (not necessarily 0% general training and 100% training of certain skill, but it could be 50% v 50% or some other way). The most efficient way to manage the youth team would require the strategy and observing the matches.

At its base, Y.S multi randoms dont help to get good players.

1.random talent
2.random starting skills
3 random skill distribution
4. random number of weeks
5. random ages
...

That's a lot of randoms and luck for a good (or perfect) toss !

Most of the youngs are unsellable. It's better confortable to buy at market young players than maintaining a Y.S for most of youngs. only 1% youngs are really amazing (thanks, we can expect millions) maybe 4% are just sellable (without training) and 95% we can just sack because we can find better on the market for 1€. To be clear : only 1% of youngs can (maybe) save your money spend in Y.S.

So im not against new features and proposal but the main problem IHMO Is just to fix this for any Y.S before anything : getting more than 5% valuable youngs by reducing the random factors. Plus, we need more and better youngs to stop the market prices rising ^^ Urgency !!!!! :-)

stamina could be still random 0-7 or 0-5 but from other pool, its own pool, unrelated to skills, but then the skills should have lower maximum (the 9 instead of 10, I presume) and no GK for outfield players also makes sense (but also no tech, striker and so on for GKs)

judging from the market place and prices we dont we dont have enough great players :-p But it's not about top players, 1% of powerful juniors its ok, maybe less than 1%, the problem is the massive number of youngs un-trainable un-sellable.

Having more good distribution juniors won't make more youths sellable. It will just increase what people are looking for, making previously sellable youths no longer sellable

The demand is potentially very high and the offer of good distribution juniors is very low (around 5%); prices are not that far to decrease ^^ And i don't count the 1% (millions €) top distribution juniors where - what a surprise - prices never decrease over the time, Less skills and more and more millions for this.

But its not just about "sellable" youths, just good youngs you can add and train to your own team for example home-made team.
