Guys, there are lot of questions about lenght of the season, i will try to explain it for you one more time.

Current proposals (3 options) are based on the same time frame. From our perspecite its most important question for now, to decide how many games per week we play, and what competitions we should play. Number of weeks is rather a result of it.
Number of games per week and list of competitions are crucial, as a starting point for our work. Try to use that context.

I think that you cannot separate the length of the season and the competition system. You could have made a separate polls with the questions "How many club competitions do you want?" and "How many official club matches do you want to play per week?" along with the poll "How long do you want the season to be?" which already exists (thanks sviktorov)

I feel like you are offering users to choose between something they might not really want instead of actually trying to listen us and I am afraid this trend will continue to be like that.

Well, the time will decide the new changes will be good or no for the old and new users.

Finally you should training your players to win games and competitions, not play games, to train your players.

Totally agree

Yes but is possibility make league for B team or U21-U23 for young players and train this players... it is too possibility. Play 3 matches to week with the best players, it is not good too and unreal... everybody have stamina and need regenaration.

You can save players to prevent injuries and depending on the match you can do, it's the same as real life. You can have substitutes. For example, barcelona or real madrid only save their players in the initial rounds of the national cup. For me it resembles reality.

Do you prefer to line-up 7 players of 1€ and not to be competitive? It makes no sense in a game like this.

At the end you train the same without advantages and tournaments are not boring.

Before we can make a decision on the schedule we should know what the training system will look like. Will players get training without having played? It wouldn't make much sense if trainees don't get to play at all. I like the idea of a league for reserve teams instead of friendlies, but that will be hard to fit in with a tighter schedule.

I think 4 competitve games per week would be too much in terms of injuries and for creating tactics. If you absolutely want to shorten the season (for which I see no necessity, but I guess the hope is that it will attact new users), why not go for the simplest solution? Have 2 league rounds on Wednesdays after the national cup is finished, and relegation in one game also on Wednesday. It would only mean the national cup has to be reduced to 9 rounds in large countries.

In general, while I appreciate the hard work of the new devs I don't think it's a good strategy to start with a rather controversial point that many managers will be unhappy about. There are enough issues for example about the match engine, youth system or transfer market that would be easy to fix and greatly improve the game. Why not start with those and think about more "invasive" changes later?

yes but Barcelona, RM and other club have U16, U18, U23 team or B team and play league and cup... So if Barcelona play CC, Leaguer or cup play with the best possible players or b team progress player....

And do not forget, messi was star in 17-18 but here will messi so goo in 24-25 y

if train young players, and will only 3 official matches, still must play with 17-18y and do not play for wins...

it is reason league and matches for this players and will have same chance for both teams.

I think the problem is that we are used to this old system, but reality is very different to this.
Is not true that training and matches are separates? You get experience in matches, but training is another point. For example Ansu fati trains to play, doesn't play to train. I don't see the discussion...It would be the same but with no need to play matches. When players are ready they will play and will get experiencie.

I agree that train to play is better than play to train. If I want to train really young players (16-18yr) I have to sacrifice the results now. I will be happy If I could still train them without any significant loss of training yet I could build a powerful team and participate in the competitions.

Why option 2 has 12 rounds in national cup and option 1 has 9 rounds?

Honestly I don't understand the problem. Spanish cup doesn't seem like a competition. It seem like a friendly league until last matches because of users need to train.

Don't forget this is a game and a competition must be a competition, not used for training, and this system force it.

If it is to change, let it be more radical. I've been in the sokker for 13 years with the same format.
2020-05-01 19:41:11
Keep the game simple, it is already difficult to an initial understanding. If you add more things, as new competitions, it would be harder than now.

You can reduce the number of weeks per season, maybe playing rounds 11 to 14 in two weeks: round 11 on Sunday as usual and changing round 12 on next Wednesday, round 13 at Sunday and round 14 on Wednesday. I like play-off as usual, just a single match, in the other case a lower level team has less possibilities of winning. It is important to add the possibility to play a friendly match if you don't have to play play-off, and also remove the break week. By this way you can reduce 3 weeks from 16 to 13.

More than 2 matches per week is too much because it means that you have to pay more attention to the game and people don't have too much free time for complicated games, even when we have easy and quick games on mobile phones. I think we are used to sokker as it is now and core changes should be avoided or at least reduced. With your proposals sokker would change everything and I don't really think that old users, who are playing for more than 10 years, want to make a radical change.
