they know that anyways

Should be. If not everyone should see the skills. NT coaches could have a slight advantage in the market if they follow the player, so they can know if a player has popped a skill or not, and extra trainings.

I think you are assuming lots of things, but consider:

- You can only see the players already in the NT (that is 40 players max.). You may think that someone could release a player X to check other player Y, and then again release player Y, for checking player X, That could be easily punished or limited, but I don't think it pays the trouble.
- You can't know for sure the training program the player is following (skill trained per week, head coach and assistants) to know the extra trainings or general training.
- You can't train every position unless you are training pace. (the "advantage" again reduce over the 40 players you theoretically are following).
- The market follows closely NT players and if a NT coach bid up a player from his team, the market takes notice of it. So, for a coach is actually hard to get a bargain unless the player is pointless.

The slight advantage in the market is (for me) almost nothing if not nothing. There could be a slight advantage in competition if the NT coach play against a team with players in his NT, but that's quite unlikely and again quite minimum.

I will not discuss something so obvious. If they want to leave it like that, that's no problem for me, but I would also like to know if some players have just popped a skill or not, and which of them.

About visible skills:
There was a long long discussion before 20 months. 14 pages with pros and contras. A poll with 70 participants.
The majority asked for visible skills and it's a fact (44+6 of 70).

I was on the minority and I rejected visibility. Now I have to accept this change, no matter if it happened on purpose or not, because it was discussed (and voted), by presenting all aspects on more than three topics, for more than five weeks.

https://sokker.org/forum_topic/ID_forum/63355/ID_topic/3438915/pg/1

I repeat, I was against visibility, but if I would complain now, I would be either a psycho or somone who doesn't care about others.

So, please take notice of the discussion that took place in the near past. There is no need to repeat the same things again.

since when a user vote drive devs updates ? :-p It's just a bug for now :-) As far as i remember Devs was agree to add an option to hide skills in user settings. A good compromise.

Who is talking about only one user vote?
Can't you read the whole thing? Is it complicated?
Man, I lose patience when you pick one sentence just to strengthen your opinion
Jesus. No manners...no decency....

calm down, just forgive « s » userS. anyway.

It is a very useful to see skills for NT beacause when you take control of the NT and ask for infos, you don't get them back quickly and even more you don't get infos for some players. With the skills clear, i can realize that some players are so weak instead of others. In the 1st game, i put a player because he was playing with last NT manager but when i saw his skills i was scared ! :-)...
And the new way to change players positions is clearly good too.

I think skills could be on line, only for the NT coach (sr OR U21) ... But UNTIL the owner-coach click on a button "hidding my NT player skills", button which were not "on" by default.
And then noboby could cry about.
I love buttons :-)

I'm totally in favor of the visibility of the skills, cause the reverse is imo even more important!
If a player dropped down in skills, it could be decisive to not select him over another player. If you don't see the skills, you simply don't know and it could turn out against you.
Say, a player at age 31 still has excellent skills to play for the NT, but his pace = magical. You know he will be slower, but if the other skills are still very high, it might be enough. Say that player just dropped in pace and another important skill...then he only has brilliant pace. If I know that, he won't play...

Also, and this is in my case, as coach of Belgium, a country with 200 users, it's a mountain of work to keep all players up-to-date in the database, scout players, set and / or create tactics, scout the opponents and then there's still my own team. You really think I'm going to keep track of those players GT and extra training? Hell no...
I have a life next to sokker...so please don't use ''advantage'' to the case...
Then I can counter with...''managers who spent hours on TL each week have advantage cause they know the values better''
As NT coach...I don't have hours left to spent on TL...

There are people who complain about everything.
I'm incredulous to see people complaining that NT trainers can now see players' Skills.
2021-12-17 18:07:16
I agree with you. Of course, these people's egos were destroyed.
