Hello everybody!

This is the new topic about Pilipinas U21. (Thanks PREK!) :)
Here you can get some information,
here you can ask anything about U21 players (do it!)
here you can view the monitoring of the team
here you can enjoy the reports of the games
and remember, it´s a game. So, have fun! :)

1. Information
Do you know that NT/U21 coaches cannot see the skills of your players, unless you share the skills of these players with them?
Your cooperation is needed. Please update the skills of your players from Pilipinas in the NTDB (national sokker database, by using SkUnk (it is an addon for all browsers and you and your team can benefit by using it)
You can also update their skills by using oSokker, directly on the NTDB-page or by sending me a sokkermail.

Do you know that your players and you can benefit by playing NT/U21 games?
They get some more training, so their skills popup faster.
Their market value is mostly much higher.
Their experience skill grows faster.

What is the best you can do for your team if you have U21 players?
If you have best coaching staff (head coach and assistants - about coaching staff read here), keep them high in form and if you want to, ask me about their training.
If you don´t have best coaching staff, sell them! You will get more money now by selling them, as when they grow up older. With this money you can finance better coaching staff. (Feel free to ask in the forum, or ask me personally via skmail)

Press Conference

Mr Tsolias, what about the game?
I could see some errors in tactics today. Errors that caused the second goal of Nicaragua and could lead them to a third goal, and errors in the way the team attacks with the tactic I used in the first 60 minutes. From this side of view I can tell we can be only better.

Nicaragua has 35% less users and their team is 40% better in value than ours. How can you explain it?
First of all we have 35% more registered users. I think the real users number is the same in both countries.
Then, there are some more things in sokker about player development. It has to do with academys, with head coaches and assistants, with specialising in training, with selling players and with finances.
We are developing in all levels.
- Since last week we have a club (Quezon F.C.) specialising in goalkeeper training.
- We have the teams F1 RedBull, Real San Rafael C.F., F.C. Ace and Armed ń Loaded, which make extraordinary work with the U21 players
- We have cooperation - last season the teams I mentioned swoped more than 4 players - and some other users are willing to sell their players, so that they get better training conditions (just take a look in the current transfer list)
- Finally stats don´t lie. Our U20 team has now the same level, as it has reached the previous U20 team in week 10. Now we are in week 1. It is aboout 9 weeks faster progress - my congratulation to all contributors!

Lets speak again about the game. Why did you used only one debutant?
I watched the last game of Nicaragua against Albania. Nicaragua was much better as I expected. This was not the right time to test weaker players.

But don´t you slow down the development of young players by not nominating them?
I have set a target, to build the best possible team for the qualification and I follow it by sharing my experience on how to develope a club and his finances. If somebody things his player has to get more training, he can let him play 90 minutes in each league game and 45 minutes on friendly.

Last time you told there is a striker problem and you work on it. Any news?
Yes, 2 players will get striker training, 1 is tranfer listed and Marlou Lima is developing splendid!

What about next game?
Next game is again an U20 game against Ísland. Ísland played also today an U20 game and they had an average mark of 33.8. This means for me: We can test some very young players.

Something else?
Yes! For this time I made a video with the highlights of the game. Have fun. Allways! :)

2015-03-14 14:25:20
Indeed, 7 players in the age of 21, after sending and receiving 6 skmails with the phrase "week 1- Nicaragua sub 20 - Pilipinas sub 20"..
Ortwin, thank you for pointing it out!
2015-03-14 15:13:43
I still think it's a good result. I think it would have been better if you used the second tactic the whole match :) Glad to also know that the team is improving :D
2015-03-14 15:48:12
Yes, damned it, it would be better...
I know it is very early to predict, but somehow I think we will have strong team for the qualification, with marks above 50. ;)
2015-03-14 16:34:27
If the players get good training, I think we can achieve that :)
2015-03-14 20:49:29
very nice score - it can be only better if you can draw with team which have older players.. :)

Press Conference

Mr Tsolias, what about the game?
This time my feeling was relax. The scoreboard showed 0-1 for us in the 9th minute and hear this: I am absolute confident that we would make an easy win.

Was it an easy win?
Yes. Islands U20 is very weak. They had only a half of chance to reach our goalpost. Most important is that it was just a preparation game for the next season for both teams. An opportunity for some of our players to gain experience.

We saw 5 new players today. Paet, Camagun, Manasas, Juco and transfer listed Matundan. Do you believe they are ready to play in the team?
In todays game yes. I knew about Islands weakness, so the risk was minimal. My only fear had to do with the low form of our strikers. For this, there is allways a plan B. Today we did not made use of it.

Isaiah Juco came on the pitch on minute 79´, he had only one shoot and in the next minute he had to take the way to the cabins. What happened?
He is an excellent striker with strong foots. He shooted the ball with so much power, that it landed on the face of an 8 year old ball boy. After hearing the boy whining and by watching the blood all over his face, Juco asked me to take personal care about the boy. So, despite I firstly planned to bring Matuban in position 8 for Balatibat, I made this unexpected change. LOL

Any message for the community of Pilipinas?
Yes, In comparison to the U20 players before two seasons, there are more players in the same level now to choose from, I want to thank you all for the progress you make with your clubs!

Nice win :D and nice excuse about the substitution XD

I think that Marlou Lima, Fernando Mangrubang and Nathan Mauban also deserve special mention :) Lima is just unfortunate that the goalkeeper saved his shots but he did try his best. Mangrubang is excellent in the midfield and Mauban and the rest of the defenders also did a great job preventing the opponents from shooting and they actually had their first real chance at the 76th minute. I actually thought that our goalkeeper will not do anything in this match :)

"He shooted the ball with so much power, that it landed on the face of an 8 year old ball boy"
Ohh he did it again!? That's one of the reason why I placed him in the transfer list. XD

Nice win Tsolias! =)

Best Player of Pilipinas
Wayne Duyan. Not his best game, but much better than the other players, who suffered because of the tactic.

Press Conference

Mr Tsolias, what about the game?
I am absolutely furious about the coach of Sakartvelo. Even yesterday I mailed him to confirm that he will play with U20 and he reconfirmed it. I really don´t know what to do with such cases.

Has it an effect on the game?
Oh yes! I expected a weaker opponent and so, firstly I tested to play with topformed Conlu on the attack. If I knew that he will play with the same team like last week I would not play with this tactic, I would play 3-5-2. Becuase of me, of beeing naive to such lies, they had the control of the hole midfield.

What to keep from this game?
I don´t know. The whole concept of this game was wrong. I expected other things. I told you before, I am absolutely furious. Furious and disappointed. I know it´s a game and I play to have fun. Obviously I have a problem with people who are lying.
I feel I owe an apology to the people on Pilipinas, who expected to see their team winning. I am sorry!

Next game is against Singapore U20. They have only 17 players and 5 of them are 21. What will you do?
I really don´t know now.

Well, now that I know that they played with U21 instead of U20, that means our U20 is getting better :D And I also know what you feel about those people who don't follow the agreement, so don't worry, I'm not disappointed in the result :) It's nice to know that you try out new tactics and players and it's just a friendly :D
