Subject: »[info] Dev Diary #76: Nothing is Certain Except Taxes

Except for some extraordinary situations, like 5x excellent 19yo at start of season

While you are right that the value of juniors will be lower, everyone will have the same conditions.
What will happen, unless they change it, is that after 10-12 season, there will be mostly only players who were produced under these new conditions. Which will result to higher prices/values of those juniors.

Since teams, especially richer farmers, searching top youngers, higher price on youngers at least will happen before 10-12 season for sure. It could be already visible in next season.
Then the inflation will touch all ages in 10 seasons. In consequence, only traders and richer teams will benefit of this situation. Nothing new of course, but a great accelerator too loose users again during that time.

Of course if devs react in some way during that time it could change my prediction. But nothing, even the training plan or young school pan will change anything for now.

Its hard to fight the "rich get richer" problem, like in real life.
If they propose something against rich teams, then they will start to complain and will threat to leave.
You can already see it when they come here crying: I play in competitions X Y Z and my players are in national teams, I cannot afford them being injured :D. Yes, the more they play the higher chance they get injured. Its all about probability.
They are rich teams, so they need to buy more players, to mitigate it.
Yes, they don't have budget for that, but if they would have had it, then the other teams would never be able to catch up.

I have less than 3m euro so you allow me to cry for injuries :) I'm not rich

injuries or other random problems touching the poorer too, the difference is that the poorer have much less escape rooms. Like real life too.

It's a system, when you change a system that counteracts the accumulation of capital in few pocket, richer are unhappy for sure, but many more users are not :-) it's real life too.

Its all depend of devs s choices.

Richer teams go on market for solutions and is hard to beat them there so I'm for some kind of restrictions on the money flow.
Like you have 100m euro in account but you can use max 40m per week...
instead to be not able to sell player for 4 weeks you pay additional tax that is percent of transfer those are just rough thoughts but devs has access to all financial status of all teams they can calculate proper percentage

Cause poor teams or new teams relay on players that their salary is more weight than their value ....

Why not.

In Sokker money is mostly growing by training and trading no matter the win or not. So whatever the solution : touching on how the training work and how the market work should be the goal. But no plans from the devs until now.

IMO, just showing skills in a larger range (eg. a visible level 10 could represent a real hidden level from 8 to 12), or stopping the linear training progression (like reboot a talent every season for example, or many talent for each skills) could change everything into the market :-) In other word : when players skills are less predictable market speculation will not work so well.

Indeed.
But it costs rich teams more money, because they need to buy better players + pay their wage.

That's why i am in 3rd league. I dont need to spend insane amount of money to keep on the top. I train my players and sell them. Once i will be ready i will go back to the top.

If you would be able to buy and support two 11s then there would be no way for new teams to catch up. Do you understand that point?
I myself do not like it either, but i do understand that there would be no motivation for new teams.

For the last match i had 5 injuries from my first team. 2 major and 3 slight. So i do understand the frustration.

I do not like the approach hiding in lower division so that's why been in top division should be more awarded ...

It already is. I agree that it is not enough.
On the other hand, how would the lower teams catch up?

hard work...dedication...training...patience

That reminds me of "American Dream". The thing they try to sell you to emigrate to the US. But all the billionaires came from wealthy families with initial capital. And also had some innovative ideas.
None of that is possible in sokker.
Only the patience will help you, when waiting till all the old players quit. I am waiting 17 years for that now :D.
